The NCSA Student-Athlete of the Year Award



This award recognizes a Cal South U14 to U19 player who has shown outstanding accomplishments in leadership, scholarship and extracurricular activities.

Requirements for candidate:
-Must be a currently U14 to U19 registered player with Cal South.
-Must be currently enrolled in school.
-Should have a strong academic record as reflected in GPA, standardized tests and academic honors.
-Should have demonstrated leadership skills.
-Should have regular and meaningful volunteer participation either in school or the community.

Please note that this award comes with an NCSA/CAEF Outreach Grant. The title of the document, the introductory paragraph and questions on the form have been reviewed and approved by the NCAA. Because the NCSA Student of the Year award has financial consideration and in order to comply with NCAA regulations, the following nomination form must be completed fully and accurately. Completion and submission of the form does not enroll you in any programs nor does it imply any contractual agreement between the nominee applicant and the NCSA.
